The Karate Kid is an 80's classic. The Karate Kid is an excellent movie for the family. For children, this movie may require some parent supervision as some fights break out through out the movie. In addition, there is some profanity, alcohol, drugs, and some graphic injuries. This movie is not recommended for younger children

  • The Plot

    Daniel LaRusso and his mother move from New Jersey to California and Daniel immediately runs into high school bullies. One night Daniel gets baldy hurt and is rescued by a Japanese janitor and sensei called Mr. Miyagi. Eventually, Mr. Miyagi agrees to teach Daniel the art of karate to defend himself from the school bully, Johnny who is also Ali's boyfriend, Daniel's crush.

    The Karate Kid II(1986): In this sequel, Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita return as Daniel LaRusso and Mr. Miyagi to Okinawa, Mr. Miyagi's home town to visit Mr. Miyagi's dying father. While visiting, Daniel makes new enemys and falls in love.

    The Karate Kid III (1989): Again, Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita return as their characters but this time they are fighting their rival John Kreese.

    The Next Karate Kid (1994): In the final Karate Kid movie Pat Morita return to train a new student, Julie Pierce, played by Hillary Swank.
